To resolve the problem:

Kindly insert the username and password which you have inserted during creation of users in PostMaster / IQuinox, for whom you have enabled IMAP.

OR

Possible cause of the error may include that the user which is configured in email client may not have the
IMAP rights. To confirm the same kindly follow the steps given below:

1. Login into W
ebAdmin of PostMaster / IQuinox.
2. Now go to
Accounts > Users.
3. Locate the respective account and click on the E
dit Tab.
4. Now go to
User Prop tab and check whether IMAP check box is enabled or disabled.
5. If disable, kindly
enable the same.
6. Click the Submit button to save the changes and check again.
